40 sticks

This ritual is very similar to the ''bridge ritual '' what is unique for this one is that it should be done next to river and with 40 sticks - and also its done on specificaly on the day of 40 holly martyrs ,the day wich we in Serbia call ''Newlyweds day''  the hollyday is on 22 march.

Basically that day you should go to the river and place 40 sticks that represent a bridge over few rocks that you placed or something under wich water can pass and say ''may my loved one come to my dreams over this bridge''

The ritual is confirmed that it works ,someone i know has dreamt her future husdband after doing it.

Shoes as i said appear as props in many rituals ,and so they do in this one ! - Before going to bed to sleep put your shoes in 'T'' shape and say this rhymes:  Hoping this night my true love to see, I place my shoes in the form of a T.
